Carved in Stone

The Carved in Stone Series images shown here are sepia toned black and white photographs of cemetery statuary. They are from many different locations around the U.S. Most of the images are close cropped so to better concentrate on the carving. I try to present them in an artistic way and to avoid a religious point of view although that is present in some of them due to their purpose.

These photographs are limited to editions of 50 to 100 and are no longer printed after the edition is complete.
